20th Century Ghosts- Joe Hill

After finishing Locke and Key by Joe Hill, I started looking to see what else he has written. There is a new movie coming out this summer called The Black Phone and when I discovered it was in a collection of other short stories, I figured I'd check it out. I was not disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed this book.

This book is a collection of wonderfully written horror stories. I was not surprised to discover that Joe Hill is the son of the famed Stephen King. Each story sucks you in and you are dying to turn the page to see where it is going. Some are shorter than others but none the less, each one is very well told. In this collection you will find a story of a ghost haunting a movie theater, a story about Abraham Van Helsing and his sons, and a story about a man who collects a dying persons last breath. All in all, I enjoyed each story and even got to read The Black Phone in anticipation of the upcoming movie. Well worth the time and if you love horror stories then this book is for you.
